Our 2300 square-foot, 3 bedroom home offers you all the modern comforts and open spaces you'll need for that unforgettable trip to the Yosemite area with your extended family or friends. After an active day of hiking, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, and visiting the many natural wonders nearby, your whole group can unwind together in our large living areas to enjoy board games, books or DVDs, memories, laughter and conversation. If you like you can enjoy the warmth of home-cooked meals you can prepare easily in the well-equipped, modern kitchen. Or instead pamper yourself with elegant dinners at the nearby Wawona hotel, Tenaya Lodge, or Narrow Gauge Inn. Moonlight Specials at the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad are always fun and it's just a short walk away.
If you've stayed in rental cabins before, you might expect that you'll need to bring everything with you. It's different at our home. While we cannot guarantee that everything you need is already here, we try to provide all the essentials so that you can relax and enjoy your visit to the Yosemite area. With amentiies that include lots of entertainment options, laundry, a crib, stroller and baby backpack, our home is ideal for families with children of all ages.
You'll find the kitchen not only has a full set of utensils, but food storage and cleaning supplies too. The pantry already contains many of the normal things you would find in your own pantry back home. There is plenty of salt and pepper, a range of spices, and even baking supplies like flour and sugar. There's usually coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available too. The bathrooms are stocked with typical paper products, soaps, shampoos and blowdryers; the laundry room has detergent and softener. You're welcome to use whatever you need.
Guests often add their own favorite amenities too, although it is not expected or required. We have a simple replacement policy at the Logger's Retreat: use what you need, replace it if you like. Most importantly, don't worry about it! Relax and enjoy yourself. During your visit, our home is your home.

- 2 twins & 1 full bed in 3rd bedroom downstairs (a bunk/trundle bed combination)
- 1 full tri-fold futon downstairs in the family room
- 1 inflatable queen size mattress also available
- Complete laundry room with ironing board, washer and dryer
- Central heat (no A/C) plus a pellet stove and propane space heater
- Free local telephone with voicemail capability
