Third bedroom downstairsOur modern, 2300 square-foot, 3 bedroom home offers you all the space you need to enjoy the Yosemite area with your extended family and friends. Curl up with a book or DVD after an active day of hiking, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, or visiting the many natural wonders nearby. If you like, you can enjoy the convenience of home-cooked meals you can prepare easily in the well-equipped, modern kitchen. Or pamper yourself instead with elegant dinners at the Wawona hotel, Tenaya Lodge, or at the nearby Narrow Gauge Inn.
If you've stayed in rental cabins before, you might expect that you'll need to bring everything with you. It's different at our home. While we cannot guarantee that everything you need is already here, we try to provide all the essentials so that you can relax and enjoy your visit to the Yosemite area.
You'll find the kitchen not only has a full set of utensils, but storage and cleaning supplies too. The pantry already contains many of the normal things you would find in your own pantry back home. There is almost always a good supply of salt, pepper, a range of spices, and even baking supplies like flour and sugar. There's usually coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available too. The bathrooms are stocked with typical paper products, soaps, shampoos and blowdryers. The laundry room already has detergent and softener available. You're welcome to use whatever you need. Guests often add their own favorite amenities so you never know exactly what you'll find here. But it's always fun to explore!
We have a very simple replacement policy at the Logger's Retreat: use what you need, replace if you wish. But most importantly, don't worry about it! Relax and enjoy yourself. During your visit our home is your home!

- Spacious living room with large windows and a pellet stove
- Big-screen TV, DVD & VCR. Sorry! There is no cable or satellite TV
(but you won't need it) - CD player with iPod docking station
- Family room with library, cards, board games, & propane stove
- Fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, range & microwave
- Small "Smokey Joe" charcoal grill (but no gas BBQ)
- Dining room with magnificent views; seats 10, with service for more
- 1 upstairs bedroom with queen bed, private bath & tub, and deck
- 1 downstairs bedroom with queen bed, private bath & shower, and deck
- 2 twins & 1 full bed in 3rd bedroom downstairs (a bunk/trundle bed combination)
- 1 full tri-fold futon downstairs in the family room
- 1 inflatable queen size mattress also available
- Complete laundry room with ironing board, washer and dryer
- Central heat (but no A/C)
- Free local telephone with voicemail capability
- DSL and WiFi Internet access now available (as of 2008)!
- Linens & towels provided
- Crib, jogging stroller and baby backpack available
